Reeves Pulley Company

From a small concern manufacturing wood pulleys to a plant with more than 300,000 square feet of floor space is the story of the growth of the Reeves Pulley Company. The firm began the manufacture of wood pulleys in 1888, occupying a small space in one of the Reeves Stacker works. the first building of their present plant was compelted in 1890, and from that time on the growth of the firm has been rapid and substantial. After making the wood pulleys for several years, they began the manufacture of a Friction Clutch and later added to the number of their products a Variable Speed Transmission. the Company maintain large sales rooms in Chicago where they deal in all kinds of power transmission. Their own machinery is sold all over the world wherever such machinery is used.
